Providing Support & Direction
This video demonstrates how to provide Patty with support and auditory direction:- Patty visualizes her right leg and foot;
- Patty focuses on her breathing;
- Patty moves her right leg and foot and activates the switch; and last
- Patty relaxes her right leg and foot and resets the switch.
It’s important to let Patty take the lead. Providing auditory direction is very helpful. Be patient and be sure to give Patty the time she needs to focus and practice.
Also, be sure to encourage and acknowledge Patty’s effort and successes.
